De Girls - Living in Full Color!

Anna's girls....aren't they beauties?!

Here's a quick scrapbook layout for you to try. I took the yellow sheet (which has the floral designs) from "Miss Moxie" v841 paper collection and:

-Stamped living in full color from "Bookoo Blessings" t2892 stampset at the top of the page.

-Took two of the die cuts from Miss Moxie & layered them under picture on left side of picture.

-Stamped a flower, in yellow, from "Starburst Florals" t2866 stampset and cut it out.

-Adhered paper flower, scrappers floss and brad to the stamped flower and pop dotted it to left bottom side of picture.

-Used the "Date Disks" t2867 stampset and stamped at bottom of page with the month/location.

That's it! Quick and easy, wouldn't you say? Thanks for dropping by!

My First "Tonje" Card

First of all, sorry for the mess up on the Tutorial: Quick Ribbon Tieing. I had to update and resend it because it wasn't showing up for some reason...so sorry for the email duplications. Okay, now let's continue....

Remember my friend Tonje sent me a "blessings from Norway" package with the Tilda stamp images and embellishements? Well, I finally was able to design a card with the goodies she sent me. Thanks again Tonje for all the inspiration and for your KIND heart!!

I used TAC's large doodle frame from the "My Story" t2821 stamp set. I think this frame really matches up well with the girl image. I then stamped the words from the "Faithbooking" t2835 stamp set in the center of the frame. I layered this on paper from the "Rockin' Roxie Matchbook kit" because it matched up perfectly with the inks I used to color, and adhered it to the card front. I so would love to watercolor as well as she does....I just keep pushing on and keep practicing! Here is HER card that I used as my inspiration point:

Spring Time

I'm using TAC's new "Spring Time" t2944 stamp set from our new Spring Supplement. I love how easy it is to make nature scenes like this one. This Chartreuse green inkpad color makes me think of spring and I like it!! I also love that psalm from our "Be Still" t2890 stamp set...it goes very well with this set as far as wording goes. what do you think?

Flip Flops Mini Album

Is this not the cutest mini photo album? Wish I could take credit for this but, nope, it wasn't me. It's made from flip flops and it was made by our very own Mischelle Smith. For newbies, Mischelle is the founder of our The Angel Company and she started her own blog entitled "Savvy Projects" and I'm really lovin' it!! Go to my homepage and click on her blog.

You must really visit her blog and check it out for yourself...lotsa inspiration there....quick and fun projects with free instructions for the taking! Mischelle has a BIG sharing & giving heart and if you ever get the opportunity to meet her she will totally bless you! Thanks for visiting me today. Now that I think about it, it's probably easier to click "Savvy Projects" here to go directly to the link. Enjoy!

SW Ohio Gathering

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I just got back from Rita Holmes' S.W. Ohio TAC (The Angel Company) Gathering and it was a blast! I met so many wonderful ladies and learned so many awesome things! Rita invited me to do a "demo" for this rubber stamping/scrapping group so I decided Iwanted to share on "not wasting" any of our beautiful TAC paper collections. I designed 3 displayboards detailing how to maximize the use of our decorative papers as follows: how to "enhance" our papers giving them your own unique style, how to make "one sheet" ideas for 8x8", 8-1/2x11", 9x9" and 12x12" sheets of paper, and the last one was "don't throw away those scraps". I will post the displayboards I made for that presentation later on and I'll have some tutorials to share with you all as well. I had lotsa fun doing this! In the meantime, here are some of the card "swaps" I received this weekend. (For newbies, a card swap is where you share card ideas by making & swapping one card front for each participant in the swap.) Take a look at the slideshow below. Are these ladies talented or what? So now you have all these free IDEAS for inspiration. Just remember it's common courtesy to give "credit" where it's due....please mention the artists' name/names if you decide to use their card ideas elsewhere. Another great treat that weekend was the fellowship and the "sharing" of God's Word with many of you ladies ...thank you for blessing my life!! I'll be back soon to share TAC's Feb/March specials...you're gonna love 'em and my March "giveaway" needs to be posted also. See ya!

You may purchase my cards and artwork

at my "Paper Blessings" ETSY Shoppe.
