Snowman, Poinsettia and Frostyville Border Equals What?

A card-in-a-box, of course!  Hello Papercrafters!  Today I played with "left overs" from last Holiday season.  I know, is it too soon to be making cute snowmen?  I think not. And since I had pieces/parts of  snowflakes, poinsettias, stars, a Frostyville Border, scrap patterned paper, red and green cardstock, etc.,  I decided to made this card-in-a-box using the following items:

-snowman: Joys of the Season cricut cartridge, cut at 4", colored in with Copics
-poinsettia: last years K & Co left over embellishment
-frostyville border die: Memory Box at StarlitStudio, #98146
-glitter glue: Glitter Glitz from CTMH, Z1313
-card in a box: digital file from Cutting Cafe or you can make your own which is fun to do

Here's a closeup of the focal point of the box:

Here's what the total card in a box looks like:

And here is a close up of the border die so you can see the fine details of this steel die, love it!:

Any questions, please ask.  Would love to hear from you.  Please take the time to enjoy your day!

Snowflakes are God's Glitter

I keep coming back to this little stamp that reads "Snowflakes are God's Glitter." It's from our retired "It's Snow Time" set and I use it alot. I love the saying and how it reminds me just how much God blesses our lives with so many little things in life..like a tiny snowflake. Thought I'd show you samples of how I've used this rubber stamp:

Purse Full of Blessings

We know that one of the greatest healing realities in life is the written Word, God's awesome Word! I made this gift for a friend of mine who was hospitalized this week. It is a cute little purse with four scripture verses to bless her. This particular stamp set "Scriptures" is from TAC's retired sets, but I sure love it and use it ALL the time. If you're interested in this stamp set, I'm sure I can find it from one of the other TAC demonstrators. Let me know. I know some of you have asked where I get my scripture stamps...mostly I use TAC's stamps. Click here to see TAC's INSPIRATIONAL selections. Click here to see their FAITHBOOKING stamp sets...check out the one entitled "Heavenly Father"...isn't it awesome?! You must see their SIGNATURE SERIES and check out "Bookoo Blessings" and "More Abundance"...you'll love that you can do so much with these! Well, enjoy the rest of your day and may it be a HAPPY one!!

"Amberley Grace" Card Slider

As I mentioned in a prior post, I would show you one of The Angel Company's new paper collections...and here it is....Amberley Grace! Isn't it lovely? I love it's gentle and elegant look. These pictures don't really do it justice. But my next project shows this paper off much better so come back and check that one out!

Amberley Grace V840 paper collection goes extremely well with the "Forever" T2811 valentine's stamp set. I love this set since they're solid stamps and I didn't have to color anything in...this was definitely quickie stamping! Since I wanted to use non-traditional valentine's colors, I used Cognac TT217 and Cote d' Azure TT206 Palette hybrid inkpads. Did you know?...Palette hybrid inkpads are a combination of dye and pigment inks? Very cool to use!

Here's how to make the tag-like card slider... I've included two different versions...the first is using the Cricut Expressions:

-Use Plantin School Book cartridge
-press Italic
-press Fit to Length
-set Tagright at 8"
Not to fret, if you don't have a Cricut I've measured the card slider and you can cut it out by hand as follows:

-cut a 2-1/2" x 8" sheet of paper
-punch 1/4" hole on either end
-wrap card slider around cards
-slide ribbon thru holes and tie a ribbon knot (see first picture).
That's it! How quick and easy, huh? Makes a wonderful gift set.

Thanks for dropping by, believing you enjoyed this quick tutorial. God bless you!
