April "Giveaway"

Time to count your blessings and time for me to show you April's "Giveaway". Leave a comment on an extra blessing you received this month. We all love to hear about blessings as they are very uplifting and can actually encourage us to "continue on" through the challenges of life. Here's a wonderful reminder and a fave verse of mine that God always makes "options" available to us. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 He promises that "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." Wow! How comforting to know that
God always makes a way for us to escape, that there IS always a way out when it seems as if there isn't! Now, that's a blessing to hold on to, huh?

Leave a comment and your name will be included in the drawing at the end of the month. You may be picked to receive my "white elegance" stationery set which includes 4 monogrammed/embossed cards with embossed envelopes, monogrammed tag and two embossed gum (or candy) pouches. Thanks again and have a most excellent evening!

My blessing this month is that I got laid off from work this week. I know that may not sound like a blessing to some, but for me it is. I am a single working mom of a beautiful 3 yr old girl. I work over 60 hrs a week. I do not spend enough time with her. Now I get a whole week to play with her except for 4 hrs on wed night. Sandy @ stampmine.blogspot.com

My Blessing is my daughter moved back to Ohio from Virginia. She was in a bad relationship and now I know she is safe from harm.

I consider myself blessed in many ways. My blessing for April is the realization that I've found my last job. I work for a small company that truely values me as a person as well as an important member of the team.

Your creations are beautiful!! I've had so many blessings in the last little while that all I can do is smile and be thankful. I get to spend time daily with two of my grandchildren, who I care for during the day. They are 1 and 4, both having just celebrated birthdays. I've been made assistant manager in my work. Life is good, thanks be to God. :)

My blessing is that I have so much work that I cannot contain it!! I've been praying for a job for three months (my whole family and church have been praying too!!) and finally I got a job, and then another two jobs on top of that that all fit into my schedule. That scripture is so true... "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Eph. 3:2)

My husband and I have been blessed to have 2 of his sisters and a brother-in-law visiting us this past week. They are Christian and we've had some wonderful talks about God. They went to church with us and we've had great times playing tourist and such. I hope they can come again.

Hi Mary...I LOVE these cards, tags, and everthing else. I am just getting around to CASING these and was wondering how you were able to leave the unembossed area on the tag. I was trying to do that, but wasn't able to get it to work

Hi Trudy! What I did on the tag was to cut/make my tag first. Then emboss one end. Take it out and then emboss the other end. That will leave the middle area unembossed. Note that after I emboss both ends, I take the tag to the Scor-Pal and emboss a "line" at the end of the embossing to give it a crisper look. That's all to it. Thanks for asking, Trudy.

Thanks Mary...I was hoping it was something that would let me leave a box in the middle, but I guess not...I LOVE this tag and am going to "have" to duplicate it
