Simplicity: Finding His Fingerprints in My Life

Here's a quick and simple card...using up my scraps of decorative paper. Using Palette "Landscape" green inkpad, I first stamped the bird from our "Deco Design" r2026 stamp set and then the saying "finding his fingerprints in my life" from the "Faithbooking" t2835 stamp set on decorative paper. I layered it onto green cs paper and adhered it to the bottom right side of card front. I punched a blue scallop flower and outlined it with faux white stitching using a white gel pen. I placed this at the top left corner. Added a paper flower with a gemstone to the top of this. Lastly, I stamped some vines to each corner of the white card front and that was it! Simple yet pretty...at least I think so. LOL! Thanks for visiting me...have a FUN day!< p>

Scor-Pal Card Box

I participated in a Scor-Pal challenge. For newbies, Scor-Pal is the wonderful "scoring" tool used to "score" lines on your cards, boxes, etc. You must visit their website for "filled to overflowing" free projects! Don't FORGET: you can get your Scor-Pal at half price with your $100 TAC funshop/order!! Quite a value, don't you think? Email me for more info on this. Okay, getting back to the challenge, this gift box holds four matching greeting cards. I used Tutti Fruitti paper collection. Notice how I cut out flowers from the paper to use as the center embellishments...I love this paper! I also used Audrey buttons from our button collection...you gotta click on buttons to see how cute the collections is! Since this is an "all occasion" gift card set, the Ordinary Greetings stamp set is PERFECT for this. I used Cuttlebug embossing folders for the blue bottom, the center banner and scallop circle on box. Hello! I'm back! Just wanted to share some pictures of RAKS from some of my friends: Here are pictures where I finally used the Magnolia Tilda stamp images that Tonje so generously sent me during the holidays! Okay, okay I know it took me a while to use them but so glad I did. These are so cute and I'll be posting some other ones as I get to them. Thanks Tonje! Here are pictures of a beautifully monogrammed card gift set from my friend Sue. Isn't it just wonderful?...just like her! She is so talented and she's always blessing me with her artwork! Tutorial: Faux Swiss Dotted Ribbon

This is a re-post. So scroll down and take a look at the free tutorials for you! Thanks for dropping by! I love using swiss dotted ribbon (or is it dotted swiss?) on my cards but I didn't have the color I needed! Goodness, what to do? Well, I guess I can try to make my own....what else, huh? Here's a quick tutorial on making your own swiss dotted ribbon and flowers using Stickles glitter glue. Supplies used: Stickles Glitter Glue F516, F522 Bitty Blossoms flowers D437 Dark pink ribbon "Mimi"B211 "Curls & Swirls" T2773 stamp set "Love Doodles" T2709 stamp set Can you tell I'm really having fun using the "Love Doodles" set??! "Clear Stamping" Class

I promised I'd download pictures of the projects we did in our last stamp/scrap class. It was our "Clear Stamping" Class. We stamped on acrylic, acetate and "stamped with water" to make our own background paper. If you live locally, please join us next time. We meet the second Saturday of the month. "Willoughby" Scallop Box

Here's another sample of our Willoughby paper which I am loving it to use! Great colors for masculine gifts. But I wanted to show you this feminine-looking scallop box I made with this paper. (Had this been a gift for a man, I probably would have layered two different kinds of buttons instead of the flower for an embellishment and probably added some brads on the corners.) Anyhow I made this scallop box differently than Beate's instructions. I suggest you read their directions to know what I'm talking about here: To make the top scallop lid, it called for using a "five in one template" to make the circle scallop. I didn't have one so here's what I did: I cut a 4" circle and folded it in half. I then took that half and lined it up to each of the 4 sides of 4x4" square, traced it and then used this as my cutting template to make the box lid. It then called for a corner piece to complete the scallop lid. I did it differently: I punched a 3" scallop circle with our Giga scallop punch , cut it in half. I took those halves and adhered to the corners. This makes the box lid complete. Note: I scored all lines with the Scor-Pal (don't forget you can get this at half price, or anything from the catalog, with your $100 Funshop!) The edges of box were edged with Jumbo Java brown inkpad. Note: To make the top embellishment on the box I punched a green 3" circle scallop, a brown 2-1/2" circle. I layered them together and added a green felt flower from our embellishment jar collection. Love these jars...they're jam-packed with felt flowers, paper flowers, some have sliders and of course some wonderful buttons! The collection I used was "Hillary". Notice that I tucked some cream tulle and green ribbon behind the flower. Also note that I used a gold marker to make the dots on the scallop circle and side corner scallops. White on Acetate

Here's an acetate card we made in my stamping class...I entitled the class "Clear Stamping" since we stamped on clear acetate, clear acrylic photo frames and I taught my "stamping with water" technique (water is clear, get it? haha!) I'll upload pictures later on this week. I thought I would use it to participate in Allison's "White Out" AFSS26 challenge so here's the card:

Purse Full of Blessings

We know that one of the greatest healing realities in life is the written Word, God's awesome Word! I made this gift for a friend of mine who was hospitalized this week. It is a cute little purse with four scripture verses to bless her. This particular stamp set "Scriptures" is from TAC's retired sets, but I sure love it and use it ALL the time. If you're interested in this stamp set, I'm sure I can find it from one of the other TAC demonstrators. Let me know.
