"Picture Scriptures"

Working on my "picture scripture" cards, as I call them. I love God's Word in my cards to inspire others to "picture" the goodness of God's heart for us in our daily lives. I'll share more as I get 'em done. Used TAC "Enjoy Today" stamp set and colored in with prismacolor pencils. Background paper is from "Brighten my day" paper pad.

Love U Pocket Card

The heart slides out from this Luv U pocket card - you can see this better in the second picture. I used pigment inks for the direct-to-paper technique. The "Hip Hop" paper collection was used and I covered the letter U from the "Grunge Alphabet" with this paper as well. The words are from "Dance with your spirit" set - designed by our own Rita Kegg, I might add! I finished it off by stamping stitching from the "Running Stitching" set. These are the projects we did at my January Stamp & Scrap Class. We did an 8x8 scrapbook page using Paisley Rocks, Enjoy Today, About a Boy and You Words (the new Incentive Set). We made a Heart treat pouch (Rita K. taught this at Leadership Conf.) and we finished with a Love You happy hearts card.

Genevieve Paper Collection, stamps and ink by The Angel Company.
Used T2105 Inspirational Sayings stamp set. All I needed to do here was to stamp the verse on white, layer it on turquoise and then on plum cardstock. Adhered it to left side of page. That's it! What beautiful paper, huh? You could then add a picture to the right of this. The paper is gorgeous by itself - suitable for framing, definitely! This is definitely an example of Paper Blessings!
