Valentine's for Kidz

I apologize for any duplication....don't know what's happening with the "fonts" write up on post below.  Sorry!

Valentine's for Kidz - Using Rubber Stamps

I used "Cheery Thoughts" r-2043 stamp set to stamp on white cardstock.  Colored in with Copic markers.   Paper-pieced the dress with patterned paper scraps, inked edges, added felt flowers and layered it onto some red cardstock.  I finished it by tying twill ribbon thru eyelet.  Simple nothing fancy.... but it would be so cute to give to a sweet girlie girl!

Valentine's for Kidz - using FONTS

I TYPED my sentiment "delight in the Lord", colored two of the hearts in red.  I then used a 2" Super Jumbo Circle hole punch (the blue-colored one) to punch out the white circle & inked the edges.  I adhered it onto a red scallop circle.Used the 2-1/2" Mega Scallop Circle punch (the pink-colored one) for the scalloped circle.  That's it...nothing fancy.

Valentine's for Kidz - using DIE CUTS

I used different die cut shapes on this one that I cut out using my die cut machine.  Assembled them to my liking,  hand printed the saying "love bug",  hand drew the stitching around the white cardstock and then I adhered it onto red card stock.  To finish it I used pinking shears on the red cardstock.  Again, nothing fancy but the kidz will enjoy them!

Thanks for spending some of your time with me!

Happy to have wandered upon your blog. It is nice to be able to read words that mean something...that reach deeper into our hearts...to look into something which is past the surface. And i have to say that MAKING valentines from the heart...is one such way we can show the depths and sincerity of our friendship :)
